ICM Artists: Our Dedication to the Performing Arts Continues
We are thrilled to announce that in November 2006, after spending more than 30 years as a subsidiary of International Creative Management, ICM Artists (ICMA) became an independent artist management firm. David Foster, President and CEO of ICMA and Byron Gustafson, Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of ICMA, together with Newsweb Artists, LLC, led a management buyout of ICMA. Newsweb Artists is an affiliate of Newsweb Corporation, a Chicago-based media company.
While our management structure may have changed, ICMA remains committed to excellence and leadership in the field of performing arts. Our experienced and dedicated management and booking staffs remain in place, and we will continue with our hands-on approach of working closely with artists, arts institutions of all types and select corporate partners to serve the performing arts community.
Indeed, our new structure will enable us to focus more of our energy and resources on our core business activities: representing the leading classical instrumentalists, vocalists and conductors, and managing the touring activities of an impressive array of international and American orchestras; chamber orchestras; vocal ensembles; chamber, jazz and new music ensembles; dance companies; theater companies; family and holiday concerts; popular attractions; and special attractions.
Our passion for the industry is unsurpassed. Our enthusiasm for this new beginning is boundless.
